Whether you’re interested in a Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE), ready to take on a Young Leader role, or just curious about what either could mean for you, there’s a place for you this December.
The District team is planning three days of DofE support (on the Friday evening) and Young Leader activity on 11th, 12th and 13th December at York Scouts Activity Centre (Snowball Plantation) – time to train, connect with others, and take the next step at your own pace. There is also a Snow-Ball Christmas party for Explorers and YLs on the Saturday evening.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. If you’d like to join a DofE group, need training, are already a Young Leader, or are wondering whether it’s for you, this is your invitation. Put the dates in your diary – we’ll share the full details soon.
