Something exciting is taking shape at York Scout Activity Centre (YSAC), better known to many of us as Snowball. Following the success of our open day, which saw over 40 people come together to talk about the future of the site, we recently ran an online webinar to share the plans more widely and give everyone the chance to get involved.
And there is plenty to be excited about. Shooting, archery and tomahawk throwing are all coming to Snowball, with new instructors freshly trained and ready to go, and there is a shop opening too. It is a real step forward for what the centre can offer our young people.
