City of York Scouts Events Team Launch

Come along to find out how our District Events work and how you can get involved. We are amalgamating our City of York Scouts Events Team and the York Activity Support Team to form one unified City of York Scouts Events Team. By bringing together their experience, skills and enthusiasm, the team will be better placed to plan and support engaging events for Scouting across York.
It is hoped that the new team will meet regularly to plan events and that anyone who would like to take the lead on an event will have the opportunity to do so. This will help to share responsibility more widely, rather than relying on the same people each time.
To launch the new team, we are meeting in The Cabin at York Scout Activity Centre from 7.30pm. Please feel free to come along and meet the team. At the meeting, you will find out what we already have planned, discuss what still needs to be organised over the next few months for Scouting in York, and learn how you can help. We would be delighted to see you.
