What a brilliant event at the recent City of York District Conference. To everyone who gave up their time to be there or provided input – in whatever capacity, however long you’ve been part of Scouting – thank you.
Together we talked openly about strategy and direction, shared the themes emerging from right across the District, and worked through what comes next for York Scouts. Out of those conversations came something valuable: specific areas to focus on that we’ll take forward together.
Keeping Scouting strong takes real commitment, and it’s easy to feel like the path ahead isn’t always clear. The conference was about tackling that – turning shared ideas into plans everyone can get behind, so no one has to guess where we seek to put our energy.
