DESCRIPTION:Please help us to look after our fabulous Scout Activity Centre and campsite at Snowball Plantation. We will be helping with maintenance tasks such as; leaf clearing\, site tidying\, repairing fences\, and dealing with fallen trees.  Let the team know if you plan to attend so catering can be arranged. \nWe have several opportunities to develop our site for York Scouts.  Perhaps you could offer to bring along a group of volunteers at a time that suits you to help with a specific project.  It can be great fun making a positive difference with other volunteers.

SUMMARY:Cubs Hergarth Team Challenge 2026
DESCRIPTION:We invite teams of 3 Cubs from each Pack in the City to show off their skills and ingenuity to complete a team challenge.  The winning team takes away the trophy\, which they retain for a year\, and they get to host the event next year! \nOnly 3 Cubs are allowed from each pack (ideally an 8\, 9 and 10-year-old). \nPlease advise as soon as possible if your Pack would like to participate by completing this form.  An adult leader should stay with access to participants’ emergency contact details.  Refreshments are provided for leaders and participants.  There is not enough space for parent spectators. \nMiss it\, miss out!   What do you mean you don’t know what it’s about – it’s a secret!   We will reveal the challenge at the event. \nClosing date for applications 16 March 2026. \nSee you there!
